Development of a communication strategy for premium class consumers of the
Hong Kong Market during the Christmas period. The main task is to present the
brand as a European product and emphasize the naturalness of the product.
Solution
A communication strategy adapted to the Asian market was developed, taking
into account the market analysis carried out by Food Union’s internal team.
Based on the analysis, such promotion channels as Weibo, Kakao Talk and
Instagram, Pop-up stores in popular places and In-store installations were
identified.
results
Within 3 months of implementing the new communication strategy,
Ekselence’s ice cream market share increased by 2 percent. And the 7-day
Christmas campaign was trending on Weibo.
